Co-Design of Personal and Social Education (PSE) in Primary Schools

This project is to work in partnership with the Caithness and Sutherland Pathfinder Projects to involve primary aged children in contributing their ideas about what personal and social learning they might need at that time and about how that learning could be delivered to greatest effect. The children will be involved in reviewing PSE materials available as well as the effectiveness of their involvement. A model for co-design for PSE in primary schools will be developed.

For example, if someone in the class has had a bereavement or family separation, then grief and loss might be a topic needed at that time, so that all the class might understand any changes, perhaps using a story such as Sad by Michael Rosen  (Ideas about Sadness Report 2010)
